2024 Spring Orientation Announcements

Registration for all incoming deposited students starting in January 2024 is open and available for registration.  Deposited students can complete Pre-Registration and register for an Orientation session via the MyWCU portal.  Spring Orientation will take place on January 11th (First-Year Students) and January 12th (Transfer Students)

All incoming undergraduate students are required to complete New Student Orientation prior to beginning coursework at Western Carolina University.  New Student Orientation consists of a Pre-Orientation course on WCU's Learning Managment System (Canvas) that is strongly encouraged and a mandatory in-person session prior to the term of enrollment for incoming students.

The Pre-Orientation course is available now for students who have registered for a January session.  Students will be added on a regular basis after that date based on completing their registration.
