University Strategic Plan
Western Carolina University's strategic plan, "Honoring Our Promise" was updated in 2021. The plan is a living, breathing document that each faculty and staff member lives by every day. It is a promise that the WCU community honors. The seven priorities and benchmarks that will be used to gauge the university's success for this year and many years to follow include: academic excellence, student experience, inclusive excellence, regional development and engagement, employee excellence, responsible stewardship, and vision advancement.
