WCU Campus

A sustainable campus is one that focuses on stewardship of resources and pursues the ideal that the entire campus serves as an academic laboratory. As a public institution, Western Carolina University has a unique opportunity to address critical environmental issues, and to take action by advancing discussion and discoveries through integrated, interdisciplinary approaches to curriculum. Our graduates will have a profound impact on the global environment and they leave WCU engaged citizens, understanding the importance and shared responsibility of creating a sustainable future.
