The Western Carolina Alumni Association provides a variety of ways for alumni of all ages to participate in events, to reconnect with former classmates, and to support the WCU student experience through classroom engagement and job shadowing.
In addition to our annual Homecoming celebration in the fall, the WCU Alumni Association hosts events both on campus and in local communities across the state. We invite you to join us for upcoming events and to contact us if you are interested in hosting an event in your area.
Few people know you as well as your college friends. You can stay connected with them and with WCU through your local Western Club.
One of the best possible ways you can support your alma mater is by providing connections for internship opportunities and sharing your career experience with our current students. If you are interested in speaking with a class or being paired with a student to share your career experience, please contact us.
Western Carolina alumni can serve as hosts and career mentors, sharing career expertise and connecting university students to internship opportunities. We also welcome you to speak on campus and in the classroom as part of our Alumni Speaker Series.

In addition, through our Center for Career and Professional Development, Western Carolina teams students with alumni for job shadowing and internships. We are always in need of alumni willing to participate in these initiatives. Please contact us if you are interested in being paired with a student for job shadowing, or would like to participate in a speaking engagement.
