Laurie returns to the staff of Dulcimer U for Summer Week after a busy year of teaching the mountain dulcimer in Vermont, Alabama, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and of course her home state, Florida.

Laurie got her introduction to the mountain dulcimer at WCU back in 2002 with a “string-side-up” class...the start of a wonderful lifetime of dulcimer joy!   After a full career in the classroom, Laurie has turned her attention to sharing the dulcimer at festivals, workshops, and her festival favorite, “the Dulcimer Petting Zoo” for children.

Laurie hosts the ever-popular evening sessions in Room 101 and encourages all to join the fun!
