Lunch ‘n Learn and Poster Presentations

 

The Cullowhee Native Plant Conference is pleased to provide the opportunity for students and educators to share their knowledge and experience with native plants by presenting a poster or a Lunch ‘n Learn session. Topics for both must center on native plants and their use in the landscape. Selected applicants will be notified in early June.

POSTERS

Posters will be on display for the duration of the conference in the main arena. During the Poster Session on Thursday morning (see current conference schedule for time), presenters will stand beside their posters to answer questions and informally discuss the topic of their poster.

Student Category: Open to current students and recent graduates.  Awards will be given for graduate and undergraduate student posters, and, if necessary, will be broken into scientific and design categories.  Judging will occur during the poster session on Thursday morning.

LUNCH ‘N LEARN PRESENTATIONS

One Lunch ‘n Learn presentation will occur during lunch on Thursday and Friday. Each presentation will be allowed 40 minutes including question time. Attendees of the Lunch ‘n Learn session will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be eating during the presentations.
