Grant Writing Certificate Program

Grant Writing Workshop

Grant Writing: Improving Efficiency and Effectiveness
Dates TBD
9 am - 4 pm | Online via Zoom
Registration fee: $399

Registration information coming soon!

Course Description:

Participants learn a systematic approach to organizing the grant writing process and how to best prepare the common components of almost all grant proposals.

The workshop goals are to reduce the time spent on the grant process, increase control over the many parts of that process, and improve quality thus increasing the chances for a grant award.

The workshop covers topics such as idea generation, grant team building, describing proposed activities, preparing logic models, budget pitfalls, understanding evaluation, improving funder relations, etc.

Participants are encouraged to contact the instructor in advance to identity their goals for this workshop, to understand what the workshop will and will not cover, and to discuss with the instructor a possible grant idea or even an RFP.

As much as possible, participants will complete exercises based on their grant idea to learn-by-doing. However, if you do not have a possible grant idea the instructor will help you develop a hypothetical grant topic for the workshop.
