Follow the steps below to make an Advising Appointment:
Log on myWCU and click on Advising/Tutoringlink in the Quick Links
This takes you to Navigate.
Click the blue "Get Assistance" button on page right.
Choose “Advising” as the appointment type.
Under Service select the appropriate service from the drop-down menu.
Select the date (if need be) then choose “find available time”
Choose the Location and Advisor and then select the appropriate location which includes the following offices, and
click Next:
Advising Center
Brinson Honors College
College of Business Advising Center
Health Science Student Services
Suite 201 Education Advising Center
Virtual Meeting (Faculty Advisor appointments)
Select the advisor you want to meet with from the next drop-down menu. If do not have a specific advisor
in mind, select a “Advising Center” and then a time that works for you. This will
give you an advisor, in that office, that works with that time frame.
You will select a time then fill out the necessary information
How you would like to meet.
Make sure you fill out the comments area with any necessary information.
Then, click “Schedule”
You will receive an email confirmation
There is an option to choose a text reminder as well.
To Cancel an Appointment using Navigate, follow the steps below:
Log into Navigate via myWCU and select the appointment from list on page right that you want to cancel.
Click the reason that you made the appointment (Course Withdrawal, etc.)
Click Cancel my Attendance.
Select from the drop-down menu the reason for canceling the scheduled appointment
and enter any additional comments.
To make a new appointment, begin with step 1 under "To Make an Appointment..."
If unable to schedule an appointment, check out these trouble shooting tips:
Try going directly into the Navigate website by typing campus.eab.cominto the address bar of your browser.
If you are still unable to make an appointment through Navigate, call 828-227-7753
and the Advising Center receptionist will schedule an appointment for you.
Let your advisor know that you had trouble scheduling your appointment so he or she
can walk you through the process when you meet.
