Summer Enrollment Information

Whether you are enrolled in the full-term session or one of the shorter sessions, summer is usually more fast-paced than a spring or fall semester.  For this reason, it is important to be mindful of the courses you register for during a summer semester to make sure you give yourself enough time to be successful in each of the courses you are enrolled in.  Please utilize the following deadlines for information pertaining to your session:

Add/Drop Deadline

Summer Chair

Because summer sessions move so quickly, the add/drop deadlines are sooner than in the fall or spring semesters.  The add/drop deadline is 5:00 pm on the second day of the session, regardless of the session you are enrolled in.  This doesn't give you a lot of time to determine if the course is right for you in a summer session, so be sure to ask all questions that are concerning you, read the course syllabus, and make the best decision to ensure you are as successful as possible.

Withdrawal Deadline

The withdrawal deadlines are a lot sooner than in the spring and fall semesters, so make sure to pay attention to these deadlines.  On the date listed for the withdrawal deadline, you must submit your request through your myWCU by 5:00 pm.  Please remember, a course withdrawal does NOT result in a refund and could impact your completion rate.
