The Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) Program accepts students to begin in June of each year. The program will admit qualified candidates up to 20 students per cohort. At the time of matriculation, applicants must have earned an undergraduate degree and completed all pre-requisite courses and requirements.
The competitive applicant will have a strong grade point average in their undergraduate studies, knowledge of the athletic training profession (gained through observation hours or other experiences), and excellent communication skills.

Applicants who apply by October 15th will receive a decision by November 30th. Applicants who apply between October 16 and February 1st will receive a decision by March 31st.

Although not required for admission, the following courses are recommended for students to take prior to starting the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program.
Interviews are required for admission into the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Once the application has been reviewed, qualified candidates will be invited to complete an interview with the athletic training selection committee. Interviews will be conducted online.
