The annual Graduate Research Symposium is a part of the Research and Scholarship Celebration (RASC) at Western Carolina University.

The Graduate Research Symposium brings together poster presentations, oral presentations and an academic paper competition from graduate students across multiple disciplines and all aspects of research.

3-Minute Thesis Competition

Three minute thesis


Once a year, graduate students have the opportunity to develop their professional presentation and research communication skills by presenting their "3-Minute Thesis."

Students distill  their research projects into an engaging three-minute presentation designed for a general audience using just one slide.
