WCU faculty, staff, and graduate students have access to a number of tools for finding funding opportunities for their projects: SPIN (online funding database), Funding Search Request, and Internal Grants and Awards.

SPIN

SPIN is a funding database available to WCU faculty, staff, and graduate students. A robust tool, SPIN offers researchers the ability to customize funding searches and receive email alerts for tracked opportunities and active searches. SPIN includes opportunities from federal agencies, private and corporate foundations, professional associations, and other sources.

Funding Search Request

To request funding search assistance from the Office of Research Administration, please complete this short form. Once you have completed the form, someone will contact you for a brief meeting to discuss your project idea(s). Many times we are able to obtain more accurate and targeted results if we are able to combine the survey results with a face-to-face meeting.
