Engineering and Technology to hold May 3 Capstone Symposium

The event features projects for regional North Carolina business and industry, as developed by senior engineering and engineering technology students.  


Workforce summit to examine auto, aerospace needs, opportunities

The April 26 event will include discussion about the needs of the high-tech industry and how to develop collaborative efforts in the 24 westernmost counties.  


Opera Ensemble to perform one-act comedy 'Speed Dating Tonight!'

The cast consists of 15 students from both the School of Music and the School of Stage and Screen.  


Selection of student-produced short films will be screened at 'Controlled Chaos'

Proceeds and donations from the event benefit the Motion Picture Student Project Fund, which helps students with the cost of creating their senior thesis films.   


Gov. Roy Cooper gets tour of campus during his visit to region

The governor visited a forensic science class, viewed construction of the Apodaca Science Building and toured the steam plant and Moore Building.

Online course in ‘German for Beginners’ kicks off April 22

Topics to be covered include formal and informal introductions, origins and hometowns, shopping, traveling, eating, and clothing and colors.  


Catamount Singers, Electric Soul to perform hits to 'Define America'

The concert will feature songs best known from performances by Aretha Franklin, The Pentatonix, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Sam Cooke, Pink, and Earth, Wind and Fire.
