Kossick presents at primary care conference in Tennessee

Mark A. Kossick, WCU professor of nursing and director of graduate programs in nursing at the university’s Biltmore Park instructional site, presented a three-hour “Advanced EKG Workshop” on March 20 at the 23rd annual Louis A. Cancellaro Primary Care Conference in Johnson City, Tennessee.

McRae’s book earns award from Organization of American Historians

Elizabeth McRae, WCU associate professor of history, was honored as recipient of the 2019 Frederick Jackson Turner Award during the recent annual meeting of the Organization of American Historians held in Philadelphia.

Jim Costa will research manuscripts of Charles Darwin's writings, correspondence and other materials this summer for an annotated edition of Darwin’s “The Descent of Man.'

Carol Burton named to position of vice provost for academic affairs

Athletic Training Program receives honor from high school association

The award was presented in recognition of services that have been provided by the program’s students and faculty at state cross country and wrestling tournaments since 2004.

The honor is presented by WCU’s Division of Undergraduate Studies and includes a one-time stipend of $2,500.
